15 offshore VPS locations. Choose the law your server answers to.
Every VPSRento VPS answers to exactly one legal system: the one its rack sits in. US DMCA notices, foreign default judgments and automated takedown robots carry no weight there. Fifteen jurisdictions, two honest price tiers — the same no-KYC, crypto-only, no-logs service in each.
- No KYC in any jurisdiction
- DMCA-ignored everywhere
- From $5.99/mo
We don't hide behind fine print. We hide behind geography.
Most "offshore" hosts are one angry letter away from folding — a US company with a rack abroad, or a reseller whose upstream answers every notice by default. VPSRento was built the other way around: the jurisdiction is the product, chosen before the hardware.
Each of our fifteen locations was picked for a documented reason — a statute, a court culture, a peering fabric. Where a jurisdiction has real trade-offs, we say so on its page, including the one where the trade-off is severe enough to carry a warning label.
The result is boring in the best way: five years, eleven thousand servers, and not one customer disconnected because a foreign robot sent a form letter.
The ground rules, every location
- Court order or nothing. We act on valid orders from the hosting jurisdiction only — never on foreign civil notices.
- DMCA goes to /dev/null. It is US law. None of our racks are in the US. The math is simple.
- Nothing to seize. No identity, no logs, no activity records. No jurisdiction can compel data that doesn't exist.
- Same service everywhere. No-KYC signup, crypto-only billing, 55-second deploys — the flag changes, the policy doesn't.
- Honest caveats. When a jurisdiction has downsides — degraded routes, local content rules — the location page tells you before you pay.
Fifteen jurisdictions, two tiers
Premium tier (Iceland, Switzerland) costs more because power, space and legal posture cost more there. Everything else is identical — same nodes, same deploy pipeline, same silence.
IMMI free-speech framework, geothermal power, one of two Tor-exit jurisdictions.
FADP privacy law, outside the EU, constitutional neutrality, Tor exits allowed.
No data-retention law, outside every surveillance alliance, closest offshore rack to the US.
The classic DMCA-ignored jurisdiction. Our first location, online since March 2021.
Densest peering in Eastern Europe, lax takedown culture, the seedbox capital.
AMS-IX hub, single-digit EU latency, five decades of hosting tradition. Our most connected rack.
Western takedowns have zero traction. Sold with an honest routing caveat — read the page first.
The original data-haven: no copyright takedown regime, outside every surveillance alliance. Pacific latency is the honest trade-off.
The offshore finance standard: no data-retention law, British common-law courts, a registry that ignores foreign civil claims.
The IBC capital of hosting. Foreign DMCA notices arrive by the volume and carry zero legal effect here.
No MLAT coverage for civil copyright claims with the US or UK, cheap Caribbean egress, English-speaking courts.
Banking-haven judiciary, no data-retention law — the closest exotic jurisdiction to the US East Coast.
The EU's most relaxed copyright enforcement in practice — and the cheapest bandwidth in the bloc. Excellent peering.
Ignores Western takedown requests entirely, at world-class bandwidth prices. Honest note: wartime infrastructure runs on dual power feeds with replicated storage.
Asia's offshore hub: no DMCA regime, strong peering to mainland China and APAC, a common-law tradition.
The jurisdictions, compared
Legal posture and network facts, one table. "DMCA stance" is short for what happens when a US notice arrives: nothing, everywhere — but the local process behind that nothing differs.

How to choose a jurisdiction
The right answer is almost never "the most exotic flag." It's the intersection of three things: who might complain about your content, where your users sit, and what latency they can feel. Pick the legal protection first, then the fastest rack inside that shortlist.
Our full guide walks the matrix content-type by content-type — publishing, seedboxes, VPN, crypto infrastructure, SaaS — with the trade-offs priced in, including the cases where we'd tell you not to buy from us at all.
Read the decision guideThree rules of thumb
- Content picks the country. Publishing or whistleblowing → Iceland or Switzerland. General DMCA-ignored workloads → Moldova or Panama. EU audience first → Netherlands or Romania.
- Latency picks within the shortlist. Keep median RTT under ~100 ms to your users and nobody will ever feel the server. Every page here publishes a looking-glass IP — test before you pay.
- When in doubt, Chisinau. Our original 2021 location: standard pricing, five years of precedent, and an abuse desk that has seen every complaint template ever mailed.
Fifteen flags. One policy: silence.
