EU member, un-EU habits
Romania is the EU member that never built a takedown culture. Yes, Law 8/1996 implements EU copyright directives, and enforcement in practice means a Romanian court order — Romanian courts have a long record of declining to act as enforcement proxies for foreign complainants. And GDPR? It applies here. It costs us nothing, because the only personal data we hold is a token hash and a transaction ID.
